My interest in photography started a long, long time ago when my mom let me use her 110 camera. You remember those, right? The long, flat ones? I was hooked. I still heart film just like I think No. 2 pencils, pads of paper, and typewriters rock. I never thought I'd be a full-time wedding photographer when I was a kid playing with my mom's camera, but the more I do it the more I love it: meeting new clients, hearing their stories, and following them on their amazing love adventure. Oh and I love weddings!
After a formal design education in college, photography really captured my attention. The lines in a building or the pop of color in a model's outfit—I had found a new creative outlet. I love being able to create shots with a heavy emphasis on composition and color, taking traditional shots in a whole new context or from a unique approach. I bring a strong sense of architecture and fashion photography to the table, hopefully taking wedding photos that are as natural of a fit in an art gallery as they are hanging on your wall.
