I just had to share a couple images with you all. This is my family. Every year we have a reunion at my cousin’s house that involves way too much good food, volleyball tournaments, swimming, bingo and catching up. I love it.
The last time we did a group photo like this it was 1988 and believe me it looked quite different. A lot of the same people are here but older and a few are missing. Having the opportunity to do it again and making sure it happened was so important. A few weeks after this was taken one of my aunts passed away.
As a photographer I cannot stress how important family photos, events and memories are- whether you hire someone to take them for you or set up the camera on a tripod. You never know when your next opportunity will come along. Seize the memory.
Nice work on getting everyone in line. I enjoyed that part of the setup. :-) And I will enjoy these photos for a long, long time.
